From Málaga Airport to Málaga, Torremolinos, and Marbella
Málaga Airport – officially called Aeropuerto de Málaga-Costa del Sol – is close to Málaga. From the airport, it’s about 13 kilometers to Málaga’s city center, around 7 kilometers to Torremolinos, and about 51 kilometers to Marbella. A taxi from the airport to Málaga costs approximately €25*. To Marbella, a taxi can cost up to €75*.
A quicker and cheaper option is the train operated by Renfe Cercanías. With line C1, you can travel to Centro Alameda station in Málaga in less than 15 minutes. The travel time to Torremolinos is only ten minutes, and a train ticket costs €1.80*.
The last stop on train line C1 is Fuengirola. The travel time is over half an hour, and a ticket costs €2.70*. From Fuengirola, a taxi to Marbella costs approximately €35*.
Public Transport
